| Welcome to the Rutherfordton Raiders On behalf of the 2007 Board of Directors of the Rutherfordton Raiders Youth Football and Cheer leading Organization. We would like to formally welcome you to our new season! Whether you are a new Raider or a returning Veteran to the sport we are glad you have chosen to be associated with our organization. We are looking forward to a positive, fun-filled, and extremely spirited season. It is the goal of the Rutherfordton Raiders to always provide our youth with an opportunity for fun, learning, and enjoyment through football and cheer leading. We will strive to develop good sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness, as well as encourage our children to achieve academic success in school. We promote "SAFETY FIRST" with programs that offer strict controls over age, weight, equipment, and behavior of all participants. Our intention is to focus on the needs of our youth in a time when those very needs are all too often crowded out by the egos and attitudes of adults involved in youth athletics. For this season to be successful for all involved, we need the volunteer efforts of ALL our parents. Thank you in advance for helping us meet this program's obligations to our children by way of your support and volunteer assistance. A football and cheer leading program is without a doubt the most labor intensive and expensive to fund of all youth sports activities. It is only with your help that we can continue to provide the best program for our youth! Please take the time to read all the information on this website. It will provide a look into what we are all about and all that you need to know for your child's participation. Feel free to seek out the help of any board member, coach or staff volunteer to offer your suggestions. We can continue to learn, develop, and improve our program when we all work together. Most importantly, we want you to know that we are all on the same TEAM!! Together Everyone Achieves More !
